Castletownbere Students Spinning After Enterprise Programme Success
Transition Year students from Colaiste Phobail Bheara, Castletownbere, claimed first prize in the West Cork Schools Enterprise Programme held on Friday last, March 2nd in The West Cork Hotel, Skibbereen. The team, under the guidance of teacher Niamh ODriscoll have come up with a novel solution to the age old problem of odd socks with their product Sock Savers which clips socks together to avoid them parting ways in the washing machine or dryer. They will now go on to represent The West Cork Enterprise Board at the national Student Enterprise Finals in Croke Park on April 18th.
